How to use your Google Earth Fishing Maps with
Mobile Devices – (DISCONTINUED VERSION)
You will perform this simple operation on your computer first to load your map(s). After these steps are complete, you will be able to access your Google Earth Fishing Map file from your iPhone, iPad or Android Mobile Device.
Save your Google Earth Fishing Map File you received from us to your desktop for easy access. You will find the Google Earth file inside the zip file we emailed to you.
First things first, please be sure you have a free Google account. If you do not, please register for one by going to www.google.com , you’ll need it.
Once your logged in to Google ON YOUR COMPUTER, perform the following steps.
FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE ARROWS AND/OR NOTES ON THE IMAGES PROVIDED BELOW. CLICK THE IMAGES FOR FULL SIZE VIEW IF NEEDED. THESE IMAGES AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE IN ORDER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
ON THE GOOGLE HOMEPAGE, CLICK ON MAPS (BE SURE YOU’RE SIGNED IN FIRST, ON A COMPUTER)
Then, browse to and select your Google Earth Fishing File
Click upload from file, you’re done.
Now, you are ready to use your iPad, Android, iPhone or other mobile device to view your fishing spots. Be sure you’re logged into Google with the same email address you used abovem but now on your mobile device, open Google Earth and your fishing spots should be in front of you.
If they are not, simply close the Google Earth app and try again. It will pick up on your spots and show them for you.
